[In the heat of the moment he may or may not forget about the food right in front of them...

However, now he's eyeing the cup of sake which he hasn't tried yet and pondering whether it'd be a good idea to have some or not.]

By the way...I didn't know what I should make for dessert and couldn't really find anything, sorry. But if there's anything sweet you'd like to try, just let me know what it looks like and I'll try my best.

[To take such things seriously is in his nature, after all.]

I'll count you as my dessert.

[He sees you eyeing that sake and he gets an idea for when they're snuggling. For now though, he just offers him another bite of food.]

Here you go!

Me...dessert?

[His face will go red in three, two, one—]

W-What are you talking about...

[He may or may not have an idea what Jirou meant by that, though. Once he's done chewing, he quickly adds:]

That's the last one for me, you eat the rest.

[Gilbert made all of this for Jirou, so there's no way he's going to eat more. Probably...]

[He winks at him and then DOESN'T EXPLAIN. Nope. He just eats a few more bites before enticing Gilbert to eat ooooooone more before he eats the last one and finishes the sake in his cup.

Grabbing Gil's hand and the other cup, he encourages him to come with him over to the bed. They won't do anything dirty but they will be more comfortable here.

So cue Jirou taking a sip of sake and then kissing Gil to share it with him. Sake kiss! Yay!]

[He should have seen that coming, but...he completely didn't see that coming. Maybe safe for the kissing part.]

You did not...

[Gilbert gasps once they lips part.]

You really don't want to get me drunk, I'm telling you.

One kiss with sake is not going to get you drunk, silly.

[He giggles then gives him a sake free kiss!]

I know that...it's just...

[There's a pause as he desperately needs to take a deep breath before saying anything more.]

I never said I wanted just one kiss.

Well we weren't going to do just one kiss. We can do kisses without alcohol too.

That's...good to hear, I guess.

[He can't even be as grumpy when Jirou's like that.]

The thing is that I'm not even sure what will I do after if I drink too much.

[Usually he'd probably be angry, but now he can't tell.]

Well if you got drunk I'd tuck you into bed then cuddle you. No bad things unless you're sober enough to remember them. Promise.

[Nose kiss!]

That's not it.

[He's not even surprised that Jiroutachi didn't understand.]

It's not about what you would do. I know you wouldn't do a thing. It's about...what I would do.

[Shortly after, Gilbert bites his lip and looks away. Being honest under such circumstances is so embarrassing to him...]

What you would do?

[See? Giving him a chance to explain!]

[What if he didn't want a chance to explain. Because it's exactly the case, but now he can't change the subject just like that.]

That's the problem...I don't know.

[Gilbert slowly raises his hand to take some strands of Jirou's and comb them delicately with his fingers. How long it'll take Jirou to break all the walls he built in order to make sure he won't become close to anybody here...most of them are already gone anyway.]

Nothing too bad, I hope. A kiss here and there, maybe...

Gi-chan. I wouldn't let you do anything bad. Besides, one or two kisses isn't going to get you drunk if it involves sharing sake. Especially if it's in my mouth first.

[He tilts his head a little so more of his head falls onto Gilbert's hand. He's definitely going to encourage touching of the silky strands. In fact, he quite loves it.]

But if you don't want to do that we can just kiss with no drinks. Or sit and talk. I like that too. Especially now that you're playing with my hair.

What the fuck, why are you so considerate now.

[He doesn't even sound angry, just amused. Also, if Jirou enjoys it that much, he's not going to stop anytime soon. Focusing on his fingers that run through the silky strands, Gilbert continues:]

I can't believe it. You invaded my personal space so many times...

[Of course Gilbert realizes this situation is different, but he can barely hold back his laugh.]

So many times that I even started to like it...

[He pouts at him.]

I can be considerate!

[Huff puff. And he flops his head onto his lap like he just owns it. Don't mind him.]

Hm? So you like when I invade your space now?

I know.

[Not only Gil knows about it, he really appreciates it, too. It was Jirou who waited for him patiently, without pushing him to come to a decision.

The moment Jirou rests his head on his lap, Gilbert feels a jolt running up his spine. It's something he hasn't felt in a long time, but the sensation only makes his lips quirk up in a smile.]

I realized I missed it...just a little.

[Obviously not just a little.]

[Shifting his hair, he makes it easier for Gil to get at as he looks up at him. There's a lot to play with. Have fun.]

Only a little bit?

Your hair is so soft...

[That's one smooth subject change...except it isn't?! Even Gilbert realizes it.]

A lot. There, I said it. A lot...so I guess now we have some catching up to do.

[He giggles and catches Gil's other hand that isn't petting him to bring it to his lips. Kissing the palm of his hand, he looks up at him.]

I like when you say things like that. It feels good to be wanted.

[He can do a lot to make himself seem human but he just can't shut off that need to be wanted by someone. It's just part of his purpose.]

[In response, Gilbert closes his eyes, trying to regain his composure. It's pointless, but he needs to at least collect his thoughts. It's not often when Jirou says such things, after all.]

It does.

[While they're sitting like this, Gil couldn't bend forward and simply kiss him, but he could do something else, and, at the same time, easier. Just a while after telling Jirou that, he slowly lifts the hand in which he's holding a silky strand and kisses it gently.]

Just admit that you like to see me struggle...

[Gilbert grumbles, but a ghost of a smile tugs on his lips.]

Only if you admit that it feels good when you can open up about what you're feeling to me.

[He can tell that it helps lift weights off of Gil's shoulders to be able to confess these things to him. It's why Jirou loves to keep poking at him. That and Gil's reactions are always extremely adorable. There is that.]

I should let you brush and comb my hair for me since you seem to love it so much.

Messing with me even now...

[He'd let out an amused laugh, but in the end, Gilbert just smiles to himself.]

But it does feel good. Once in a while.

[That second sentence wasn't really necessary, but he's too flustered and just had to add it. And Jiroutachi pointing out how much he likes with his hair doesn't help with the blush that spreads over Gilbert's cheeks.]

Maybe you should...I wouldn't mind that. That and...other things. A-Anything you'd like.

[Is he going to regret this? Who knows...]

[He laughs then sits up long enough to grab a brush for him. This he hands to him before spreading out again, happily looking up at him and playing with a strand of Gilbert's hair that is hanging down.]

Am I the first person you've ever courted, Gi-chan?

[He has a feeling the answer is yes and that's precious.]

[Jirou and that intuition of his scare Gilbert from time to time. How could he tell!?]

You are.

[He feels like answering this wasn't really necessary as Jirou probably knew that already. Now, he's looking at the brush in his hand, but puts it away after a little while.]

I prefer doing it this way...

[Combing Jirou's hair with his fingers aren't going to get them anywhere, but he'll do it properly later.]

I'm a bit lost because of that.
