[Jirou looks filthy when he arrives. Filthy. Tired. In a terrible mood.
And sober.
He pushes some of his hair back from his face and sets his sword near the door before going and grabbing Gil's face to kiss him. That's the first order of business. To shove him right against the wall and kiss the life out of him.
[When pinned against the wall, Gilbert's hands find their way to the upper part of Jirou's kimono and tugs him closer after getting a good grip on the fabric. It's not a mystery to him that his lover needs that, so he tries his best to cater to Jirou.]
Do you want me to heat it for you?
[It shouldn't take long, but Jiroutachi doesn't look like he can wait even a few seconds longer.]
[He's still holding onto Gilbert with one hand even as he stumbles his way over to the table. He knows that he should just pour some in a cup but he flumps down and takes the bottle. Before long he's downing it, draining it as his head tips further and further back while he takes in that life fulfilling sake.
He'll be back to his alcohol smelly self in no time...
The bottle is drained and he lets out a long sigh and smiles a little.]
We need more I guess.
[Good thing he keeps so much sake in that cellar.]
[All Gilbert can do is to watch him. Usually, Jirou would take his sweet time sipping sake, but not this time. Can Gil really blame him, though? Those past few days were a nightmare and it doesn't seem like the situation is going to change anytime soon. At the very least none of them are infected, so there's that.]
I'll bring it...you just rest.
[He's already pulling away from Jirou to get him some sake.]
[It's so nice to have someone reliable to get him his alcohol and he just melts onto the table spinning the empty bottle that he has. The alcohol is slowly working its way into his system again and he can feel himself relaxing as a result.
That's better.
When Gil gets back, he reaches out to pull him onto his lap and nuzzles his cheek and neck.]
I'm so dirty but I just want to drink and hold yoooooou.
[Gilbert barely manages to put the bottle on the table when he's caught by the other man...it would be a shame if something happened to the sake bottle, but thankfully nothing like that happens.]
Don't worry about the little things.
[Gently combing Jirou's hair with his fingers, Gilbert murmurs:]
I'm so glad you're safe. Don't wander off like that...
[Even as he sips at his sake, he leans into the petting and finally just rests his head against Gilbert's shoulder as he lets out a sigh.]
I might have some bruises which aren't pretty. I'll have to have repairs, Gi-chan.
[He probably could have had cuts and bruises taken care of there but he'd been mad about lack of alcohol and Gil. Which had led to him just walking home.
But now he's here and just won't stop complaining. Sorry, Gil.]
[He begins, but there's a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. Bruises are nothing compared to what could have happened to him...which doesn't exactly mean that Gil's happy to see him bruised, of course.]
I'm just glad you're alright. More or less alright, at least.
[One evening and a night with alcohol and Gil should cheer him up, probably.]
[He's pouting so much as he finally lets Gil get off his lap so that way he can strip down. Completely because why not. Besides, the only people who live here are men and most of the household happen to be swords.
When he's naked, he's sitting and back to drinking again.]
My hair is gross too. And I'm all dirty. How can I be a pretty sword if I'm dirty?
[He wishes he could say the same about these minor injuries. Luckily, they shouldn't take too long to heal, from what he sees. They still need to be cleaned up, hence Gilbert reaches for the bottle of alcohol and pours some of it over the scratches on Jirou's arm.]
You're just tired and angry. [And sober? But he's not sure anymore, with the amount of alcohol Jirou has drunk.] You need to rest.
[He winces some at the cleaning of some scratches he has but has currently occupied his mouth with a drink. Which is really the only reason why he doesn't whine loudly about it.]
[Nope. He does not need to remind him at all. The pouting oodachi is drinking from it as they walk towards their bathroom. There's plenty of stumbling due to him drinking so fast rather than savoring the alcohol like he usually does. Of course some of that is also how tired he is and how he's probably terribly low on mana too.
Really it's no wonder he's so whiny about everything.
Good thing Gil is willing to put up with him. Honestly he'll make it up to him later and properly thank him. For now he just wants to be a big baby about everything and be pampered and drunk off his ass. Well drunker off his ass than usual.]
[Gilbert keeps an eye on him while they head together to the bathroom and makes sure Jiroutachi gets into the tub without hurting himself even further. Before turning the water on, he leans forward to kiss his beloved on the forehead.]
Just relax, I'll take care of everything.
[Even though he never got a permission from his master to help him in the bath which basically meant he had very little experience with that, Gilbert doesn't seem to be daunted. Quite the opposite, especially when he knew that it could cheer Jirou up, even if just a little.]
It'll take a while, though.
[Even gathering his hair in one place to wash it with water isn't easy, after all.]

[It might seem silly but for a sword like him this is actually extremely important. After all its one of his claims to fame. To no longer be pretty could mean being tossed aside where he's from.]
[Once Gilbert makes sure that his hair is washed properly with lukewarm water, he pours some of the shampoo on both his hands. The thought about someone making a sake shampoo crosses his mind and makes him smile briefly. Unfortunately, it just gives off a cherry blossom scent.]
Did someone tell you that you are not?
[Undoubtedly, this is very important to Jirou, so if someone dared to tell him such a thing...Gilbert will have a word or two with them. However, instead of words it might be punches or bullets. Who knows.]
Of course you are. Also, you're not just pretty. You're the most beautiful.
[He's so glad that he's sitting behind Jirou's back right now because he's blushing quite brightly.]
[He finishes up this bottle too. Probably not the best of ideas on an empty stomach but one can see how little he happens to care about that as he hums a bit. Obviously drinking this fast and this much on that empty stomach is helping it hit hard.]
But if I'm not pretty then what if I'm not wanted. I'm the pretty oodachi Jiroutachi. I have to be pretty so my master will want me. So Gi-chan will want me.
[Please don't mind him, Gil. He doesn't think you're that shallow at all. He knows you're not. This is just part of sword life. He pauses when that last part of what Gil says sinks in and he tilts his head back to look at him.]
[What Jirou has said makes Gilbert wonder whether he's just that drunk or maybe that's a more serious issue. Now isn't probably a good time for questions nor lectures, so he refrains from doing that and simply gives him a scalp massage, hoping that'll help him relax even if a bit.]

[He appears to help because the oodachi smiles finally and relaxes. He's still not in a great mood and he's way drunker than usual but at least he's stopped complaining for a bit. That's progress at the very least.

[He hums a little. The alcohol is very much getting to him. Does he care though? Nope.]
[That comment makes Gilbert smile, especially the helpless word formation gets to him. But then again, he lays his eyes briefly at his left metal arm and his smile becomes even wider.
He always wanted to be needed and while he experienced that back in his world not just once, here it's different. So much different. Gilbert is getting used to it little by little, but he's really thankful for all the moments he can help Jiroutachi or even spoil him a little.]

[It shouldn't be news to Jirou, though. Gilbert sighs softly as he continues the massage.]
Let's stay at home for a few days without going anywhere, alright?
[He may not understand why Jiroutachi's giggling (maybe he's just that drunk already, it wouldn't be anything surprising...) but it makes him smile softly.]
